Struggling IL&FS group has decided to put its Education and Wealth Management arms on the block for stake sale in an attempt to generate cash flows to salvage the mothership. The infrastructure lender bigwig has decided to sell it’s stake in IL&FS Education & Technology Services (IETS), along with other subsidiary businesses and IL&FS Investment Managers (IIML) along with all its associated fund management platforms.
